چکیده

J. Phys. Or mochemical study of mono-N-oxides derived from quinoxaline, oxide and 3-ethoxycarbonyl-2-methyl-quinoxaline N-oxide. The values of the enthalpies of formation, in the condensed state, and of the enthalpies of sublimation, derived from static bomb calorimetry and Calvet microcalorimetry measurements, respectively, are combined to derive the standard molar enthalpies of formation in the gaseous phase for these two compounds. From the latter values, the first and second N—O bond dissociation enthalpies for the corresponding di-N-oxides have been obtained. The gas-phase experimental results are also compared with calculated data obtained with a density functional theory approach. Copyright 2008 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. A QSAR Study of 2-carboxamide-1,4-di-N-oxide quinoxaline Derivatives

A set of density functional theory (DFT) calculations were performed on 2-carboxamide-1,4- di-N-oxide quinoxaline (2CdNOQ) derivatives. The optimized structure of these compounds in three forms was obtained. Some electronic parameters including dipole moment (μ),ionization potential (I), electron af finity (A), LUMO energy (εLUMO), HOMO energy (εHOMO),electronegativity (χ), hardness (η), ele...

Thermodynamic properties of quinoxaline-1,4-dioxide derivatives: a combined experimental and computational study.

The mean (N-O) bond dissociation enthalpies were derived for three 2-methyl-3-(R)-quinoxaline 1,4-dioxide (1) derivatives, with R = methyl (1a), ethoxycarbonyl (1b), and benzyl (1c). The standard molar enthalpies of formation in the gaseous state at T = 298.15 K for the three 1 derivatives were determined from the enthalpies of combustion of the crystalline solids and their enthalpies of sublim...

Theoretical Study on Glycosyl Group Effect on Antioxidant Ability of Chrysin Bioflavonoid

Antioxidants are compounds which can prevent biological and chemical substances from oxidative damage by reactive oxygen species. Flavonoids are the most important class of polyphenolic compounds that because of their antioxidant characters possess biological activities and pharmacological effects. Chrysin-6-C-fucopyranoside and chrysin-3-malonyl-6-C-fucopyranoside are mono C-glycosyl derivativ...

Thermochemical studies on 3-methyl-quinoxaline-2-carboxamide-1,4-dioxide derivatives: enthalpies of formation and of N-O bond dissociation.

The standard molar enthalpies of formation of the 3-methyl-N-R-2-quinoxalinecarboxamide-1,4-dioxides (R = H, phenyl, 2-tolyl) in the gas phase were derived using the values for the enthalpies of combustion of the crystalline compounds, measured by static bomb combustion calorimetry, and for the enthalpies of sublimation, measured by Knudsen effusion, at T = 298.15 K. These values have also been...

One-pot Four-component Reaction for Convenient Synthesis of New Quinoxaline Derivatives in the Presence of K2CO3

Convenient and simple procedures for the synthesis of functionalized Quinoxaline derivatives were developed via one-pot four-component reaction of o-aminoanilin, acetylenic ester, and malonyl dichloride in the presence of K2 CO3 as effective base catalyst. These compounds widely are used in various industries like paint, pharmaceutical and medicine. Quinoxaline derivatives are also part of anti...
